By far the most important technological invention to benefit society is the computer. Technology has never benefited a person as much as it can now. The computer has become the new way of communicating. Many people use the computer instead of picking up a phone. In addition the computer is a source for looking up any information that is unknown. With the computer everyone has access to the same information. Finally the computer is a learning education for young children. Even though the computer was an invention of the early 1900’s it has benefited society for all ages.

There are many technological inventions that benefits to society, but the computer has become the new way of communicating. Many people are use to picking up the phone and dialing the number if they wanted to talk to someone. In today’s society people just go to their computers and reach who they want to talk to. Emailing, websites, and instant messaging are just a few ways of communicating. When the first computer was invented, it was only made for typing up documents. Today there is access to online databases that allow you to set up accounts that will let you have emails. Emailing is one of the main ways of communicating for adults. Its fast and very easy to do. Instant messaging attracts the young adults and even the adults are trying to learn it too! Sometimes picking up a phone is easy to do, but many people are enjoying the new ways of communicating through technology.

The computer has become a primary source for looking up information on any topic. It is useful for children and adults. Finding information about a certain topic has come to be very helpful in every situation. The earlier computers did not have internet to look up information. In today’s society, restaurants or even stores offer internet connection where a portable computer may be connected to the internet for access. Internet connection allows for anyone to to look up information they needed to research. There are main websites for example, yahoo or google, that allows the person to keyword anything and it will bring up different websites the person can look at. With this access to the internet, many people enjoy the technological advantage to the internet.

Not only is the computer the new way of communicating or even a great source for information, but it is also a learning center for young children. There are many electronic devices that hook up to the computer where a young child and their parent can sit with them and watch them play. The tv shows children watch in today’s society have websites that they can go to and explore. Even dolls have websites where children can go can to and build there own world with there own doll. In today’s society many stores have learning games for younger children to learn at there own pace. Children can learn about math, english and science. They even have a program where it will teach a child how to read and write. Children today enjoy the different options they have to learn about their education and also how technology have increased over the years.

There are many benefits people enjoy today with technology, but also what it may anticipate for the future. Over the years a computer has gone to just word processing information to exploring the internet and making it useful for all ages. The computer has increased its technology advances over the past years. It has gone from an older computer to even a cellular device. In today’s society people can access the internet through there phone. It’s no charge and is fast and easy to use. Not only has a computer benefited a cell phone, but it also comes in a pen. Just one click and instantly it turns into a computer. With all the technological structures there are in today’s society, it only makes people wonder what the future anticipates years from now.
